All Norwegians are blonde, tall and have blue eyes

This is the most popular stereotype that people have about Norway, due to the fact that Scandinavian countries like Sweden, Finland and Norway, have a bigger percentage of blonde, tall, and blue eyed people. But the truth is that this characteristics are far from being the majority.

The land of always winter


Norway is known for its winters and for being a fabulous place for winter sports. However, in summer, this country can reach the 30 degrees Celsius, and like any other European country you can enjoy an ice cream in the beach.

Norwegians are resistant to cold


Norwegians do get cold, they just have developed extra-protective measures to help them deal with it. Many years of living in artic and subartic conditions helped to shape anticold practices like staying active when outside, and soaking in the sun whenever is possible.
