The Lewis Model: Norway
The Lewis Model categorize a country´s culture based on some standarts. Countries can be Linear-Active, Multi-Active, or Reactive. My chosen country, Norway, has a Linear-Active culture.
Linear actives are known for being results oriented, they stick to logic rather than emotions, they separate personal and business life, and rationalism and logic dominate their thinking.
On the other hand, linear actives are very organized, they like doing one thing at a time and punctuality. In terms of conversation, they rarely interrupt, they prefer direct discussions, and their goal is to exchange information based in facts and that is reliable.
I hope this text helped you understand a little bit more about Norwegian culture, thank you for reading!
